Guest guest
, After my miscarriage my OB told me to have one full cycle and try again. The causes of miscarriage cannot be pin pointed all the time. Just take care of yourself the best you can. Blessings, anne
Guest guest
, You definitely have positive thoughts and prayers coming your way from me. Keep thinking positive and hang in there, whatever is meant to be will be. Axelrod Fear.. Okay I miscarried on the 16th of October and was told to use BC for the next two cycles. The doctor specifically mentioned condoms as the best bet. Used them. Then this weekend, my boobs started getting tender and sore. I am tired. I am not as hungry as before. My appetite is changing. I am peeing constantly. Is this possible? I am terrifed that I am. I know that sounds awful but the OB was very specific about waiting two cycles because if you get pregnant sooner you are at higher risk of miscarriage she said. I have been taking the prenatals though. NEVER stopped taking those when I miscarried. But I am terrified that I am pg again. I even went looking for a pg test when i stopped to buy pull-ups -- the store didn't sell them. They sold ky jelly but not pg tests. So I dont know. What happens if I am? Folks, I could use some prayers. I am terrifed here. Rasley mailto: drasley@... BTC, Columbus, 10/7/

There isn't a thing you can do except quit worrying because if you *are* pg again, worrying will just cause you to have high levels of stress hormone (cortisol) in your system, and that isn't good for a growing baby. : ) I -so totally- understand the emotional rollercoaster you're on, however... please hang in there and trust God to take care of you no matter what happens, okay? Guest guest
I took two pregnancy tests -- one last night and one this morning. Saw nothing on the first one but when I went back in about 30 minutes later there was a positive on it. The directions say not to trust anything past ten minutes. This morning when I got up I took another one. A VERY FAINT second line appeared within the first three to five minutes. It looks like I may barely be pregnant. Now I am terrified. I used condoms. I was listening to the doctor. ANd now I am going to have to call her and say I know you told me to wait two cycles but something went wrong and I think I am pregnant again and I dont want to lose this baby. And yet part of me thinks I probably will because it is too early and I miscarried last month and I can't go through that again. I dont think I can handle this. Rasley mailto: drasley@... Guest guest
Yep.. went and bought a box of two. The one I took last night came up positive but it was very faint more than ten minutes after I took the test -- results are not good past ten minutes. I took another one this morning and it was extremely faint positive but it was positive. Swallowed my proud and called the doctor. Told her that apparently I am in the 1% that had problems with condoms. I used them and am still pregnant according to hpt 1 month to the day after the miscarriage. Waiting on them to call me back to let me know when I should come in for my " first " appointment. If I miscarry I think it would kill me. Everything for a reson right? Rasley mailto: drasley@... Guest guest
... I would get a blood test. Since your miscarriage was not to long ago... it is still possible to have traces of HCG hormone in your body. I know the doctor told me I would test " postive " for several weeks after. Infact... it took me a few weeks to not feel pregnant... of course that part was most likely all in my head. best wishes! Guest guest
~ If you are pg, I hope that your body will be strong enough to sustain the pregnancy. I would call your doc and get a blood test to confirm. I'd ask for a BETA HCG to see how those #'s look. All my prayers~ Jackie

Guest guest
~ I am not a very religious person, but I will agree on that...God does provide and he allows things to happen for a reason. We may not always understand his reasoning, but then again we are not meant to either. Leave it in his hands and know that you are a strong person, a wonderful, kind human and you will pull through this. Hugs~ Jackie
Guest guest
, We had several blood tests after miscarriage.. My HCG levels returned to 2 within a week after the miscarriage and my breast tenderness was gone by then. I also wasn't peeing as much or as tired. These " symptoms " all started in the past week. I plan to get a blood test though. I called my OB and they are going to call and schedule me. My yearly appointment is next Monday anyway. Rasley mailto: drasley@... Tell the doc just what you told us, you followed the advice but it looks like you may be preggers again. Its better to find out for sure, especially to ease your mind, you don't need this stress, especially if you are pg. Hang in there sweetie! Guest guest
Just wanted to chip in here with my story in hopes it may help ease your fear. I had a miscarriage in June (it started June 21st.) I bled for 7 days. I had intercourse on July 4th, thinking I was totally safe because it was probably way too soon to worry about getting pregnant. I am now 21 weeks pregnant with our little girl and everything is going splendidly. It very well may be a good idea to wait two cycles before trying to conceive again, BUT! if you don't wait and it turns out you are pregnant, don't worry, it doesn't mean doom and gloom either. I am living proof of that. Kari Hanson RNY 1-8-04 Aerin Hanson EDD 3/28/04 > Okay I miscarried on the 16th of October and was told to use BC for the next > two cycles.
