Welcome to the list!

To get your questions about vitamins answered you really need to talk to

your surgeon and ob-gyn. The reason being is that some vitamins are toxic in

large quantities and you should not count on malabsorption to prevent you

from poisoning your system. To determine how much is too much definitely ask

a medical professional.

I definitely second what said...you don't want to overdose on vitamins.

My dr. has me taking my prenatals only. Everyone's doc is different.

Check with your doc. and see what he/she prefers for you.

9 weeks pregnant with number 3.

Katy,

I wouldn't let what he said get you down because my surgeon told me the same

thing and here I am 15 weeks pregnant and almost 16 months post-op. If you are

feeling good and all your bloodwork is good then I would start taking prenatal

vitamins and maybe a folic acid. Have you discussed it with your OB? Good luck

and best wishes to you. Let us know if anything happens.

I have a question about the prenatal vitamins, how do you take them,

do you crush them or take them whole, or in liquid form, same thing

for the folic acid and my doc said to take vitamin a. We are going to

start trying next month so I thought I should go ahead and find a

site and start taking what I should and could!
