Guest guest
Hi , Some things that might help you conceive are Ovulation Predictor Kits and www.Fertilityfriend.com or webmd.com's ovulation calendar. On FertilityFriend.com, you will need a Basal Body Thermomenter to track your temperatures every month and then you will enter your info like the days you have intercourse, your temps, and any cervical mucus you have. FF.com will help pinpoint when you ovulate each month to increase your chances of becoming pregnant. WQith webmd.com's ovulations calendar, you will enter the first day of your last two periods so your can tell the length of your cycles, then it will create a calendar for you and tell you the best times of the month to have intercourse to increase your chances. The ovulation predictor kits work the same way. You can buy them anywhere like Target, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, etc... The OPKs detect your LH surge which happens approx. 24 - 36 hours before you ovulate. In the instructions it will test you when to start testing. I have even heard that some people use Saliva Ovulation prediction kits also and that they work. I hope this helps you and Good Luck!! Shayla > Hi I hav been a member of this group for some time now but mostly I lerk and read all the informitve postings. I could use some advice... I had open RNY 12/02 and I am at goal lost 118lbs. I have been off the pill since 12/03 and I have been ttc since than but no luck yet... I am frustrated... my GYN told me that there is nothing she will do until it has been six months of trying because I am only 28. I know that ttc for 3 months is nothing and that many women on this board have been trying for much longer but I am worried that I will be trying forever... also I could use some advice about what i could do better to move things along. > > Frustrated in NY >
Guest guest
the best advice i can give you is the advice you probably have already heard and dont want to hear again..but take it from a woman who was ttc for 16 yrs with no luck but after gastric bypass it took 2 tries. i didnt know i could even get pregnant but last year i had a miscarriage didnt know i was pregnant, i still wanted to lose weight so i used better protection (we used protection the time i got pregnant too) and waited till this year and got pregnant on the 2nd month.. maybe your body isnt ready just yet with the rapid weight loss..i would relax and just let nature take its course. let your body get use to the new you, they say it actually can take a year to get pregnant. im 35 having my first baby so its not so bad being older and pregnant..good luck you hon deanna > Hi I hav been a member of this group for some time now but mostly I lerk and read all the informitve postings. Guest guest
, I know that it is hard every month when your cycle comes and you didn't want it to but don't give up. I couldn't believe how fertile I became after losing the weight. Please don't give up hope. Best wishes to you!!
