Guest guest
Hey there. I was 236 with my first, 250 with my second, and 275 with my third. I didn't feel them move until well into the 24th or 25th week. I think a lot of it had to do with my weight, so that may very well have to do with why you aren't feeling anything just yet. You will, trust me........and when you're lying down in bed eventually you'll see a whole foot come traipsing across your belly......or an elbow poking out. It just takes longer I think the larger we are. Guest guest
I am 17 1/2 weeks and I do not feel my baby either. Maybe once in awhile I will feel a flutter but that is it. When I was prego for my others I was 350 plus and never really felt them until my 6th month. i do think it is because of the weigth and that your baby is just fine in there. You should start feeling your baby in a few more weeks and you will feel better. hang in there and congratulations. Guest guest
Hi, When I had my son, pre-op, I weighed around 350 lbs. The office was not able to hear the heartbeat with a doppler until I was about 30 weeks. I had an ultrasound everytime I walked through the door. I also did not feel movement very much and my husband hardly ever was able to feel the baby move. I think I was at least 26-28 weeks before I was sure I was feeling movement. If you feel any flutters, kinda like butterflies or gas pains, it is the baby. I can tell you not to worry, but being the Queen of Worries, I know it probably won't help. Just hope my experiences help a little. best of Luck, Terri i don't feel pregnant hello all, i'm 10 months post op and 20 weeks pregnant, while i'm very excited about the baby, i'm always worried about the baby because i don't feel pregnant. when i go for my prenatal visits, my dr can never hear the heartbeat with the doppler, so i have to have ultrasounds to get the fetal heart rate, i don't feel the baby moving yet and am starting to get worried because everyone tells me i should feel this by now, i know the baby is moving because i can hear that on the doppler and see it during the ultrasound, so far, i've lost 130 lbs since surgery and actually still losing but everything is fine with the baby's growth at this point. i'm still over 350lbs, is this the reason why i don't feel anything? how long did it take for you to feel your baby inside you? should i be worried??...
