Guest guest
Hi Chris! That's awesome! Get that video camera out and start shooting! How fun. I know what you mean about the little stuff. We are still waiting paitently for to pull himself into a stand. But he knows we are waiting, so he's going to take his own sweet time. Little stinker! Have fun and start getting those baby gates. It doesn't take long before they are outta here!! congrats again, atypical bl cf dbb 23/7 > has been working very hard at getting where she wants to go without actually having to crawl. She rolls, scoots backward and even pivots on her belly BUT going forward was not one of her talents... until today! She isn't exactly crawling but she gets up on all fours (often her hands and toes, not necessarily knees!) and propels herself forward almost doing a 'face plant' before getting back up and doing it all over. It's a hoot to watch and so exciting. I feel like we are on our way to those baby gates and a grand decluttering session for anything 3 ft or below before we are ready! > > Aren't the little things so exciting when you know it took so much to finally accomplish them? :) Especially when you are working around an FAB! > > Just had to share... > Chris > > > >

Guest guest
that's wonderful!!!!! It's funny how their little accomplishments are so exciting and can just stop time when you're watching them. My son, is 3 months (2 1/2 month preemie, so I expect him to be a little behind.) But he'll do something and I'm so excited because that's what a normal 3 month does. This morning he was laying on his tummy down the front of me. He had his arms pulled in by his side and he lifted his head straight up and looked at me. I was exstactic. He held it up for quit awhile before it bobbed back down. The funny thing is he'll scoot himself up on me, lift his head and root across my face, not sure if that's normal but it makes me laugh. Anyway, thanks for sharing. chris@...> wrote: has been working very hard at getting where she wants to go without actually having to crawl. Guest guest
I'm waiting for those! Her therapist said she's surprised she's not bruised since she really propels herself with force! Guest guest
Awwww.. how sweet and cute! I love watching them 'get' stuff. It's one of the great joys of parenting when they are little. and the unconditional love just can't be beat. Even when we're the ones who force their feet in the shoes, they still think we are the most wonderful thing ever. Can't beat that! was a bit early as well although not quite that early. And has had some challenges. But according to the Neo, she shouldn't be here at all so when she's toddling around I'm going to go down to his office and share her success with him. Perhaps then he'll apologize for telling us to prepare for her funeral... jerk. LOL Re: It's Official! She's on the Move!!! that's wonderful!!!!! Guest guest
Isn't it hysterical? will get up on all fours and then fall flat. But when he wants to move, he just drags himself across the floor, little butt going like crazy. We call him the " inchworm " ! 11.23.03 > has been working very hard at getting where she wants to go without actually having to crawl.
