..

I have been thinking about you .. I know how scary it is when one's pregnancy

deviates from the classic " textbook " pregnancy.

Did they tell you bedrest and no heavy lifting? If not.. I would definately do

so.

Keep a journal.. write down time and length... If you see a pattern.. or if they

are frequent.. Please go straight to the ER.

They will put you up in L/D and start monitoring you.

They can give you IV meds to stop contractions.. and then when all is

stabilized.. there is an oral med you can take

when you feel a contraction.

Honestly.. I am not impressed with your doctors course of action.

Trust your instincts.. this your child .. not your Dr's.

I apologize if is sound over passionate.. but I get so aggrevated at some

medical professionals who think all thier book

learning superscedes the gut instincts of a mother carrying a child.

Our maternal instincts kick in way before our children are born... we just know!

When I miscarried in July... I woke up one morning.. clutching my stomach and

just cried and cried..

I knew that I had lost the baby... this was 1 week prior to my first OB visit.

You and your baby remain in my thoughts and prayers.

I am taking two of the chewable prenates a day--1 in am and 1 in pm,

2 feogen forte iron supplements a day, 2 progesterone capsules a day--

1 in am and 1 in pm....I also take a chewable calcium citrate about

twice a day.....I know alot of things...but I think the Iron helps me

not be so constipated in the mornings...

Just thought that I would share.

I hope that the contractions stop for you soon...Take care of

yourself and that little baby and take it easy...
