Guest guest
I am going to a Dr. tomorrow to discuss treatment of my unborn baby and his bilateral clubfeet. He is not Ponseti certified but I did find out from an email I sent to Dr. Ponseti that this Dr. contacted him not too long ago about how to become certified. My question is... Is anyone from CT and know of a Dr. that they went to and are happy with the outcome? Caroline
Guest guest
Caroline, We see Dr. Mack at Shriner's Hospital in Springfield, MA. It's very close to Hartford, CT. Shriner's is free and we have been very happy with Dr. Mack. If you're not close to Springfield, MA you can always arrange to fly there through Angel Flight. They will get you a volunteer pilot to fly you to Springfield and Shriner's will pick you up at the airport. We fly to Springfield from Maine, it's over 4 hours by car, but only an hour and a half by plane. Good luck and keep us posted. and 11/10/03 bilateral clubfeet > > I am going to a Dr. tomorrow to discuss treatment of my unborn baby > and his bilateral clubfeet. Guest guest
Hi! We live in Groton, CT and travel to see Dr. Scher in NYC. He was highly recomended by Dr. Ponsetti so it is worth the trip to us. It is 1 hour by car (to the train station in New Haven) and 2 hours by train. We of course only have to go three times/ year so it is not too much of a bother. I have been VERY happy with Dr. Scher. If you have any further questions, ask away Aiden bilateral cf 8/1/03 > > I am going to a Dr. tomorrow to discuss treatment of my unborn baby > and his bilateral clubfeet.
