Guest guest
Now that I better understand the benefits of the capsules, I'll just get used to prying them open all the time! If Luke were a more predictable eater I'd just teach him to swallow the capsules, but I can't know if he's going to eat in a half hour or not. We do eat meals on a schedule, but if he isn't hungry at mealtime I do allow him to come back and finish his plate later. Right now I'm just excited for him to EAT! Thank you for the great info and clearing some things up for me. I couldn't do this without you guys!
Guest guest
Micelle, Here are a few more small pluses to the capsules: 1. Easy to grab a few to throw in a ziploc and into your purse. 2. School nurse/grandparents/babysitters less likely to screw up the dose. It's easy to tell them, 1 Pep capsule and 1 ZP capsule. They can't mismeasure and if they can't recall how many capsules they dumped into the drink for mixing, they just look at how many empty capsules are on the counter! I know, because I do this all the time! 3. I know all the enzymes are mixed in the capsule just right. brought up that he wondered if the enzymes loose in a container might settle somewhat. 4. I am a klutz and would rather knock over an open container of capsules than an open container of loose powder, given a choice. I agree, opening capsules is a pain, but there are advantages to the capsules, too. I've found twisting the capsules open helps, so you could try that. > Now that I better understand the benefits of the capsules, I'll just > get used to prying them open all the time!
