My eye was swollen and I had my contact in and the preassure from the eyelid on the contact then on my eye actually scratched my cornea, it was extremely painful. I ended up going to the emergency room at 3AM to get my eye numbed so I couldn't feel it anymore. Duck tape your glasses to your face.... Thanks for the lesson.
