Guest guest
Yes! And we have the s which can be time consuming buckling all the straps. squirms all over the place while I try to put them on. So I am trying to buckle each strap, hold her in place, tighten the strap BEFORE she moves again, which usually takes 2-3 times before succeeding, all at the same time! Sometimes I wish I was an octopus, then maybe I could master it faster. I also think when is out of the squiggly stage, it will be a breeze. Last night my husband got so frustrated, because she would just not sit still! He threw the s across the room. I was pissed!!! " Do you know how much those cost? " All I saw was $$ signs flashing before my eyes. They are only 2 weeks old. Needless to say, I ended up putting on the shoes, with no trouble I might add. Husbands, geesh!!! Guest guest
hummmm... maybe it's a good thing all of you have s... in the past, it's taken me as long as 8-10 min to get the Markells on. Of course, now it's much quicker, about 2-3 min (although I haven't timed myself) but at first... well we had a lot of problems and it was a huge deal every day that took FOREVER even when it went just fine. Guest guest
I decided that I would just add my experience on this. I have NO problems putting 's Markell shoes on. She also has had no problems with blisters, sores, etc. It was the same way the first time around (despite her foot not being fully corrected because her DBB was also not set correctly). Sometimes she is just plain fussy because it's bedtime and then my DH steps in and reads her a book but I manage just fine on the nights he's not here to distract her. Maybe because she's older now but once we got the hang of it with her first set, then we've had no more problems. I actually worry that I get them TOO tight. How crazy is that? Her buckles buckle on the 6th eyehole on both shoes. Seems really tight to me but I so worry about them not being tight enough that I really yank them. Guest guest
What gets my husband is the tiny buckles compared to his large fingers. He can get them on but I generally end up readjusting the straps later. s. >My husband won't even attempt putting the shoes on. He is a thrower too! > >poohismybb@... wrote:LOLOLOL.. Guest guest
My husband seems to always do something wrong, putting the shoes on. He likes to suprise me when I leave the house, give baby a bath and put shoes on. I always go behind him and do it over. Once they were to loose, another time he had the wrong socks on him. I use thick socks because they seem to keep blisters away. I have told him this but he hears the ocean when I am talking lol. We all have so much in common, it is hilarious! Guest guest
Very true Liana, My husband too seems to have the ability to totally tune me out, it really is a gift of some sort, sometimes I wish I could do the same, it would make things a lot easier lol! I've talked with him twice about putting the shoes on properly, he just can't seem to get everything right. For such a big guy, he really can be such a fragile creature LOL, so I have given up with " the talks " and just re-adjust afterwards now. - ) LOLOLOL.. I can relate.. > > >-------------- Original message -------------- > > >: > > > > > >
