Guest guest
, That's great! What an improvement! I am glad to hear he made it through ok. We will be there on November 5th and so far and Marilouise too. Tommy had his tenotomy today. Of course he screamed through the whole thing but not any worse than when I put him down for the night. Dr. Herzenberg was very happy with the results. He said they hope to achieve about 10-15% of correction (flexion?) after they cut. Tommy had 13% on the left and a whopping 27% on the right as measured by the pre and post x-rays. He said it was the biggest improvement he had ever seen and it was one for the record books. We will still go back next week and see Dr. Lamm as Dr. H will be in Italy. So they will still do weekly casting...this was the plan because he wasn't seeing much improvement each week. I will keep every one posted and assume I will see many of you on the 5th. Guest guest
Hi, I was wondering, are X-rays always necessary? I ask because my daughter is currently being treated by Dr. Ponseti and he has asked me twice if we've done x-rays - I've said no. Now I wonder if I should ask when Lhea's casts come off. He did her Tenotomy and yes, she cried through the entire thing as well. giannasmommy2002 nannylulu@...> wrote: Tommy had his tenotomy today. Guest guest
Hello , Wow! That is great news. How is Tommy Lee doing today? You have to change the casts only 1 week after the tenotomy? I know he is a special case. gets her casts off today and the shoes on. I am hoping for a smooth transition. I don't know when we will be back for the next appointment. I will surely post about tomorrow. Shook Retail Operations Manager/Baking Instructor Vie de France Yamazaki, Inc. 2070 Chain Bridge Rd. Guest guest
Hi , I am glad to hear is doing so well. Yes the casts will still be changed weekly as to further stretch to feet. He is doing well I think. He has a terrible cold along with the rest of the family so it's hard to tell if the tenotomy is bothering him. He was fine on Friday and Saturday then started fussing yesterday I think because of the cold. I will keep everyone up to date as things progress. -- In nosurgery4clubfoot , susan.shook@v... wrote: > Hello , > Wow! That is great news. How is Tommy Lee doing today?
