Hi and congrats!!! I am about 1 week behind you, so your post caught

my eye. You said you went in for " another " ultrasound...why did you

have 2 already in such a short time? I am scheduled for my first

ultrasound 1 week from today. At that point I will also be 5&1/2

weeks. As I understood it, an ultrasound really doesnt give much info

until 6-7 weeks? Can they actually pick up a heartbeat this early? I

am confused, so if anyone can give me any info I would appreciate it.

e is 8 weeks as of today...she took an ultrasound about 3 weeks ago which

she was 5 weeks pregnant...and we picked up a STRONG heartbeat of 122per

minute....they want a heartbeat of 100hpm at that early
