Hi, Congratulations. Yes, your baby will be just fine. Having gastric bypass

doesn't really mean much will change than any other prego women. Eat good

things when you can and make sure to take your vitamins. I take all my regular

vitamins and the doc has added prenatal to them. Good Luck and welcome to the

Hi , I am in the same boat. I am 9 months post op. I hope we'll both be

ok!

From everything I've read so far we just need extra supplements, extra blood

work, and make sure we eat well and everything should be ok!

waaaaaaaaaaay too much glucose than a post WLS pt should be

ingesting! Like 60gms of glucose when we aren't supposed to have over

2gms at once. Would/should make post WLS pts incredibly ill!

The amount of sugar may make many of us who had the RNY dump!

thanks so much.... i didn't know that's how it worked.... didn't

realize you'd be ingesting the glucose.....yep, i'm way new to this

whole baby thing!
