Guest guest
Hi all Yet another pondering of mine.... I take depression meds and so of course I see my psychiatrist ASAP to get on something else that's pregnancy-safe. That being said, I woke up this morning in sort of a blue funk. As the day progressed I was irritable - almost PMS type irritable. Then I just began feeling irritable AND blue. Could my hormones account for my mood - vs my actual depression? Guest guest
I was taking effexor when I got pregnant and weened myself off but I was told it was safe to take throughout the pregnancy. My niece got horrible depression from her pregnancy and started taking 40 mg of prozac and has since had her baby and is still taking it. I think hormones can definately send you up and down the river of depression. I make sure to take my b vitamins everyday and try to get some exercise. It helps. Guest guest
Yeah with my first pregnancy I weaned myself off the meds but a month later I was started to feel so so depressed. It peaked around my fourth month and all I wanted to do was die! So I got back on the meds - zoloft. Within a week I was leveled out thank God!
