Guest guest
Great News!!!! The Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker Enumeration Profiles Study is now posted on the Migrant Health Program website. This study offers estimates of migrant and seasonal farmworkers at the county level for ten states: Arkansas, California, Florida, Louisiana, land, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas and Washington. It was prepared for the Office of Migrant Health (with joint funding from the EPA Office of Pesticide Programs). A separate report is available for each of these states. It includes a description of methodology, a table of county estimates, and maps. Figures are provided for migrant farmworkers, seasonal farmworkers, and non- farmworkers living in the same household (formerly called " dependents " ). Estimates of children and youth who are either farmworkers or non-farmworkers in the same household are also covered. You can reach this information at the Migrant Health website through the following address: www.bphc.hrsa.gov/migrant/enumeration/enumerationstudy.htm The reports are available in " pdf " format and can be printed directly from this source. I am the author of this study through a contract with the National Center for Farmworker Health. We hope you find the information useful. Alice C. Larson, Ph.D. las@... P.O.
