Guest guest
Thanks Donna for the advice. Unfortunately I am allergic to Ibuprophen and tylenol hasn't even touched the pain that I am in! I called my Dr.'s office and I will see if they do or recommend anything. I know because of the gastric bypass I cannot take naproxen either....so what does that leave? Chrystal, Definately sounds like sciatica to me. I have had it for years and am a nurse. You should call your OB. Ibuprofen worked well for me, and during my first pregnancy I was told I could take it up to 20 weeks, however that was 5 years ago! I am not sure if they are recommending ibuprofen at all now a days. If not, I am sure your OB can recommend something to help. I can empathize...it really hurts!!! Good Luck! Guest guest
Crystal, I guess you'll have to see what the doc says...sorry! Tylenol doesn't work for me either!!! It never has unfortunately. Ibuprofen is about the only thing I have success with. I use the liquigel caps since my surgery and have great success with minor pain relief. Too bad you are allergic to ibuprofen:( A gentle massage might help some, but you don't want to further inflame the sciatic nerve. It sounds like you are doing everything you can and will have to see what the doctor says. Good Luck! Donna
