Guest guest
tte, I have replied to you before. I didn't have a good answer because I had fertility problems. Looking back, if I hadn't of had problems, the pill probably wouldn't have worked for me. I have noticed a HUGE amount of women have gotten pregnant after WLS while on the pill; I think it has to do with which part of your stomach was bypassed (distal or proximal). The best form I would suggest is abstinence! lol I used the depo shot (before I tried to get pregnant) but I can't tell you if it was effective or my lack of getting pregnant was fertility related. Hope you can find the answers you are looking for because I don't have anything I can tell you! Sheila ---------------------------------------------------- > Found the article you recently replied to and noticed you are a nurse I think. I keep trying to get an answer on this but no one seems to have a good one for me. In your opinion what is the best form of contraception for Weight Loss Patients. Do our bodies absorb things faster where the pill, patch, shots would not be as effective. Have researched alot about Mirena (IUD) and it seems to suit most women just fine. Was wondering what was your thinking on this subject. Thanks
