Guest guest
Hello all! Tonight when I took off Ava's shoes, I noticed a weird thing on the bottom of her foot. It was a little round dot, and almost seemed like a blister. I don't want to gross anyone out, but it popped and oozed clear fluid. But it was very very tiny, and was on her sole, about 3/4 of an inch under her big toe. I thought that was kind of a strange place for a blister. Is that what it probably is? Or is there something else it could be? She's been in the shoes for almost a month, and we haven't had any trouble. It also didn't seem to bother her at all, and there was no redness around it. Thanks! , mommy of: Guinevere, on, Ava 8/4/04 right CF DBB 23/
Guest guest
, I would just keep an I on it. I know when Ava was in the Markells for the brief period her feet sweat so bad. When I would take off the shoes there would be little drops of persperation on the bottom of the shoe. The way you decribed the blister is sounds like it could be from sweating. Almost like the start of athletes foot only she's too little to scratch it. LOL Are her feet warm or moist when you take off the shoes & socks? I would just let them air out real good when you have them off for the hour and maybe put a little powder on the soles of her feet before putting them back on. I hope it helps. KK > > Hello all! Guest guest
I wonder if this is similar to what I and one of my sons get. My mom called them worry warts, and it does seem they come up related to stress... or not. Mine itch and I get them on my feet, toes and fingers (on the digits, they happen on the edges and the soles of my feet in the arch). They itch and after popping fill up again, a little itchy but then will go away. I get them a few times a year. My middle child gets them occasionally on his fingers but I've only seen them on him, I don't pop them (he'd freak lol!). Oh yeah, the reason my mom had a name for them... she gets them too. Guest guest
Kori, That sounds like eczema. I get that. Little bumps that itch like CRAZY!! Then they pop and dry up and sometimes your skin peels too. That is related to stress (I get it when we're getting ready for vacation sometimes haha), and also wetness (always having your hands in water). It's hereditary too, my mom gets it. I guess that could be what Ava's bump was, but I tend to get it in between my fingers. Ava's was on the sole of her foot, I would think it might be between her toes. And it was only 1 bump, not alot. By the way, a really thick lotion like Eucerin helps clear up eczema. > > > >Hello all! Tonight when I took off Ava's shoes, I noticed a weird > >thing on the bottom of her foot. Guest guest
I don't think it's exema, because it doesn't flake. And it only itches a little. And it's often just one bump, maybe two right next to each other but never more than that. I get them right in the very tender part of my arch near the heel. :'( I'm sure they're worry warts lol! But if I ever see what you're describing I'll know, I never knew exema presented like that, I thought it was just cracking/flaking/itching (my best friend had it when I was little, her hands were a mess). Guest guest
I have eczema on my hands and yes what a mess. When it decides to show its ugly head my hands are so nasty looking for the longest time and then it decides to go away for awhile until I start thinking its gone forever and then oops there it is again. Most people are lucky enough to grow out of it.
