Guest guest
What the heck is 104 lbs? My scale hasn't seen that number since high school. that's kind of like the people who claim they go 25 mph. It's just not on my spedometer!! hahaha. And we make you sick??? grrrr...Skinny women should be on an island all by themselves. Course you would have to have internet hook up as I would really miss chatting with you...LOL!!! > Breast feeding is great, isn't it? Both times I lost an easy 10 pounds a month for the first six months eating what ever I wanted, getting back to my pre-baby pounds. This summer I got down to 104 pounds and dh started complaining that I was too skinny. To me, " Too SKinny " is like " Breasts too big? " How can that be???? Now Everett hardly nurses anymore and I have to watch every crum that crosses my lips again. I'm back up to about 115 and think, Hmm, time to start another baby nursing! LOL! Pretty bad to stay pregnant just to stay skinny! ha! > s. > > > > I was really getting slender when I was pumping. Now that I've started the baby on formula and quite pumping I think I've gained 10lbs in a week. I might just go back to pumping to take the weight off again! It' really makes a difference. > > Plus, with the way I'm consuming ice cream and wine to cure my " shoe blues " I'm sure I'll be up to a good 30lbs before months end. Damn these shoes - they're going to put me in weight watchers.. Again, this is why all mommies w/clft babes should be neighbors so we could just go walking. We could tether our childrens bars together to make sure no one falls behind. > > Okay, I'm cracking myself up, what's wrong with me. > > > > >
Guest guest
Geez. I hope you don't mind if we DON'T have a pity-party for you. ;-P 115 whopping lbs?? Man, I wish I could just weigh 115. don't even have to look like I do, just to see that number on the scale again... but, o.k. enough picking on ee for not having the gold mine the rest of us have in our backseat booty! Guest guest
O.K., I finally need to speak up on this subject. I have been too skinny my whole life. Yeah, yeah, I know, you think that this is a problem that you would like. Guess again. It's not fun to go through life with the figure of a 16 year old boy. Even when you are 40. Not only that, there is NOTHING that some of us can do about it. It doesn't matter how much we work out or how much we eat, we are still skinny. When you are 40 and a size 5, there are no appropriate clothes out there. Not a good idea to wear that midrift shirt, even if you can. It just looks kind of sad. I'm not looking for any pity, just wanted you normal-weighted people out there to understand that it is just as difficult to be too thin(yes, you can be too thin, I still don't know about too rich)as it is to be too heavy. Guest guest
I gain 70 pds during my preg as I quit smoking. Funny, people would come into my office and find me covered in crumbs all the time, I was addicted to those peanutbutter and the banana granola bars, they would get quite the kick out of it hehe. I just say, more to love, I will take it off eventually, I figure it took me 10 months to put it on so... We are sure our own worst critics!! Guest guest
> That's just it though, I'm not skinny. I'm short so everything is concentrated on my little short body giving me quite a round appearance everywhere except my chest which obviously did not enjoy breast feeding so it picked up and moved away... Guest guest
I am finding less and less time lately to read the board but I have been cracking up reading all the posts about boob sizes and weight. Figured I'd give you guys somebody else to pick on --- With my twins I gained 17 pounds (TOTAL!) and then lost 25 within 4 weeks. With , I gained 18 pounds and lost all but 2 of it within 3 weeks. Problem is that my hips don't fit into my old jeans even though my waist would. I've decided jeans need to have drawstrings! Heehee As for the boobs, after nursing three kiddos (yes, I nursed my twins for 13 months -- no formula) I think I now need the training bra section. Luckily I married a " more than a handfull is a waste " guy - - or so he lets me believe anyway! I figure by the time actually weans, I may not need a bra at all. A little tape should do the trick! Guest guest
You are too funny! Just wait till Aiden is eating table foods and you can't fathom throwing ANY of his scraps in the trash so YOU eat them -- every last crumb! Good for you if you've kicked the smoking thing. Won't go into my soapbox except to say that my mother died at 28 years old (3 weeks before my 3rd birthday) from esophageal cancer. Make sure Aiden has his mama and not just pictures! Guest guest
oh my! I gained weight in hospital as well. I was on bedrest in hospital and every night I could pick my dessert, chocolate cake. It was wonderful and then snack time came before bedtime...chocolate chip cookie. It was fabulous! The two things to look forward to in the hospital. haha! > > I can vouch for that I went back to my pre preg weight in 16 days > so I > > thought, yippee get your jeans on.
