Guest guest
Breast feeding is great, isn't it? Both times I lost an easy 10 pounds a month for the first six months eating what ever I wanted, getting back to my pre-baby pounds. This summer I got down to 104 pounds and dh started complaining that I was too skinny. To me, " Too SKinny " is like " Breasts too big? " How can that be???? Now Everett hardly nurses anymore and I have to watch every crum that crosses my lips again. I'm back up to about 115 and think, Hmm, time to start another baby nursing! LOL! Pretty bad to stay pregnant just to stay skinny! ha! s. I was really getting slender when I was pumping. Now that I've started the baby on formula and quite pumping I think I've gained 10lbs in a week. I might just go back to pumping to take the weight off again! It' really makes a difference. Plus, with the way I'm consuming ice cream and wine to cure my " shoe blues " I'm sure I'll be up to a good 30lbs before months end. Damn these shoes - they're going to put me in weight watchers.. Again, this is why all mommies w/clft babes should be neighbors so we could just go walking. We could tether our childrens bars together to make sure no one falls behind. Okay, I'm cracking myself up, what's wrong with me.

Guest guest
I was exactly the opposite with breast feeding. I was so sick during both of my pregnancies, I could barely eat anything. I lost a ton of weight in my first trimesters and it was all I could do to maintain my prepregnancy weight. So, after the babies were born, I could not get enough to eat. So, my baby weight was gained while I was breastfeeding. I know. I am a mutant. By the way, I never made it to H but I did make it up to a G while breastfeeding. Now, however, we are back down and actually smaller than when I started. Jenni Number23 wrote: >Breast feeding is great, isn't it? Guest guest
That's just it though, I'm not skinny. I'm short so everything is concentrated on my little short body giving me quite a round appearance everywhere except my chest which obviously did not enjoy breast feeding so it picked up and moved away... I'm hardly even a B cup anymore...now that is SAD!. Like I said, I can get my pre-baby weight, just not my prebaby figure! LOL! s. Re: 6 ROLLS /lololo What the heck is 104 lbs? My scale hasn't seen that number since high school. that's kind of like the people who claim they go 25 mph. It's just not on my spedometer!! hahaha. Guest guest
I was nice and curvy for those few first months of breast feeding, then for whatever reason I totally shrunk. Still making milk, but no more benefits of making milk in the curvy department. s. I was exactly the opposite with breast feeding. Guest guest
Ya but see that's big for me. I'm pretty sur I'll never wear a two piece swim suit again - these rolls of skin on my belly are disgusting. It's not even fat, I think fat would be better, all I have is just empty skin that looks so gross! LOL! But I guess a nice teen age looking body would look silly with all my gray hairs that Miss Clairol does NOT cover, don't let the ads fool you. Just thinking, this is funny - have you ever been out some place and see some gorgeous woman from behind then she turns and you see this 60 year old face? I think I'd rather avoid that myself. s. s. 115lbs!!!! I haven't seen that since high school!!!! Shook Retail Operations Manager/Baking Instructor Vie de France Yamazaki, Inc. 2070 Chain Bridge Rd. Guest guest
No cloths to fit, ain't that the truth! Once in a while I actually buy my sweaters and tops in the " Girls " department. Nothing in the women's will fit unless I go to an upper scale type of store with petite cloths. But " girls " pants don't fit cuz girls don't have the hips of 40 year old women even if the waist will fit the hips won't! s. O.K., I finally need to speak up on this subject. I have been too skinny my whole life. Yeah, yeah, I know, you think that this is a problem that you would like. Guess again. It's not fun to go through life with the figure of a 16 year old boy. Even when you are 40. Not only that, there is NOTHING that some of us can do about it. It doesn't matter how much we work out or how much we eat, we are still skinny. When you are 40 and a size 5, there are no appropriate clothes out there. Not a good idea to wear that midrift shirt, even if you can. It just looks kind of sad. I'm not looking for any pity, just wanted you normal-weighted people out there to understand that it is just as difficult to be too thin(yes, you can be too thin, I still don't know about too rich)as it is to be too heavy. Guest guest
LOL!! I'm certain of it. I was in the hospital for a month on bed rest and I lost 15 lbs, while pregnant just laying there. Of course, it was all water weight - I was very swollen. But the food, UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Honestly, the first couple of days I was thinking this isn't so bad, but then when your smothered steak starts tasting the same as the pancakes you had that morning it's all downhill after that!!! :-) redskline123@...> wrote: OOOOHHHH...somebody new to pick on!! 16 DAYS!!!! Guest guest
Oh Dear God, I'm certain you're not human! :-) Who does that happen to? I gained about 16 pounds with Aidan and I only went 7mo. of course at 6mo I went into the hospital and lost 15 all water weight. I was super swollen. After I had him, and was pumping, I was thinner than before my pregnancy (of course it makes a difference when you can't drink a bottle of wine and smoke 1/2 a pack of cigarettes with your girl friends on a regular basis). But now that I'm a SAHM I'm finding it very easy to put stuff in my mouth instead of a cigarette like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and cheetos while I'm watching Oprah.. Bug, I'm afraid I'm getting fat. I've got to start working out again. It's hard though when all your friends work and your all by yourself - Holy cow do you see this, I'm making excuses on-line. How pathetic. Okay, getting my FA off the couch to do some sit-ups -- RIGHT!!!!
