Guest guest
Well, we just got back from the doctor's office. Ava is wearing her DBB. She seems okay for now. She fussed a little when he put it on her, but nothing big. I think it was just a " why are you bothering me? " fuss. Actually, I should say Ava is wearing Devlin's DBB :-) !!! Thanks so much again . If I didn't get it from you Ava would probably have to have had a cast until we got her brace. This is better, because I can bathe her, and it gets the bracing process started now instead of waiting a few more weeks. I feel like the sooner we start the sooner we'll be past the 23/7 time. Now I have to go through all her outfits & weed out the ones I won't be able to put on her! My husband's aunt just sent an outfit with feet I almost put on her the other day. Then I realized I may as well leave the tags on it so I can exchange it for something more practical! Hopefully though Ava continues to do fine with it. But I'm sure I'll have lots more questions in the coming weeks. I mentioned before how I was always talking about the group like you're my best friends & my dh would look at me crazy. But now he's even started going " What did they say on your group " or asking if there's any news when he sees me checking my mail! This is really a wonderful support, and I'm so glad I found it in those confusing first few weeks! Thanks! , mommy of: Guinevere, on, Ava 8/4/04 right CF DBB 23/7 (it's so weird to write that! I feel like an old hat on this site now!)

Guest guest
Hi , That is just GREAT! Way to go Ava! Funny, my hubby used to tease me about talking about " the mommies " too, he is a real teaser anyway - stinker!
