I just wanted to let you know what I found through my midwives.

Something called Yellow Dock tincture. It is a liquid that you put

in a little juice and drink once or twice a day. It's an iron

suppliment and my iron has been testing fine since I've been on it.

I was having a real problem with iron tablets and constipation. SO

this yellow dock has a natural laxative in it and keeps me regular.

I'm completely happy with it and I can take my calcium with it if I

have to.

Iron supplements should be taken alone or with Vitamin C. I can't

remember whether it is the iron that affects the absorbtion of the

other vitamins if taken together or if the others can affect the

absorbtion of the iron, but I just remember that iron should be

taken solo.
