Guest guest
Hi Jake's Mom, Congratulations on your pregnancy. This is wonderful news:) My doc added a prenatal and a folic acid to my daily list of vitamins ( not replacing any, added to the ones I had) I bought the folic acid over the counter nad he gave me a script for the prenatals. They also come in chewables if you need them that way. I don't blame you for not telling your son right away. I did not tell my kids until I saw that little heartbeat in there. Guest guest
I am a newbie as well and in the same boat as you except the older child. I'm 2 years out this year, and 8 weeks preggos w/ our first child. I am not on a prenatal. My doc said the chewable ones taste horrible! She checked what I was taking and said that was just fine. The worry is the folic acid count...I take Centrum Complete chewables which have 100% folic acid in them. Congrats and best of luck to you! Guest guest
The Natachew prenatal chewables taste like grape sweet tarts... the generic ones aren't as yummy, but I like the natachew! I'd try them out if you are concerned. If you want more folic acid, either get a supp at the drug store or ask your doc for a script! :~) Sharon > I am a newbie as well and in the same boat as you except the older > child.
