I spent 16 yrs having irregular periods, infertility and unable to

even conceive with fertility help..after only 4 months i started

getting my periods and every month they got more regular, after 10/11

months i got pregnant (nov 01) and that was with using protection,

unfortunalty i miscarried early on. But now im 19 weeks pregnant

with a healthy boy...so anything is possible, good luck to you

I had never had normal periods until about 5 months after my surgery,

but I still wasn't ovulating according to the monitor (and serum

progesterone tests)... even long before surgery with clomid I never

ovulated until last October, 9 months post-op. I got pregnant in

November, only the second time I have ever ovulated. I wouldn't

worry if it takes a while to get normal, it certainly took me some

time for my cycle to get going, but not long after that to get

pregnant.

Good luck!

,

I had never been pregnant prior to wls, and never expected to ever

get pregnant becuase of all the problems I had with my periods,

pcos, ovarian surgery, etc.... and we are now 31 weeks along!! LOL!

Yep, it's possible! :~)

Good Luck!

I bet you find yourself alot more fertile as the weight comes off. Do wait at

least the one year though so you can get a majority of your weight off. I

find I am much more fertile now :) I tried to get pg for years ands finally had

twins, then a dd from clomid & IUI and then nothing until 2 miscarraiges and

then this pregnancy. The last 2 pregnancies have been since weight loss surgery,

right after I came off birth control I got pg and had a MC and I never went

back on the BC and got pg again right away and am now 12 weeks monday :) So

good luck making a baby and getting that weight off.
