My 20 year old son has MERFF (finally diagnosed after about 5 years of searching with the help of a member of this group who steered me to Dr. at Hershey Medical Center in PA). Walter has myoclonus, tremors (among other things). Anyway, while doing some Christmas shopping in Boscov's department store I found a " zipper tie " . The tie is already tied in a knot. There is a zipper in the back, you pull the zipper and slip the tie over your head and sip it back up to your neck. You can't see the zipper and will be so much easier for the man in your life who has difficulty with fine motor skills who may still need to wear a tie. Just thought I'd let you all know.
