Guest guest
In my experience there is no special shoe required and often barefoot is recommended as best. s. Type of Shoes when baby starts walking My baby is almost a year old and is now wearing the DBB at night and nap time( as of about a month ago.) My question is...what kind of shoes should she be wearing when she starts walking?
Guest guest
I just asked at the shoe store what was the best shoe for new walkers and they directed me to the Nike. It has a wide foot bed and is very stable. Rose did great with it. She is barefoot or sockfooted most of the day, but really needs some shoes when outside, at the store or whatever. She is in her second pair now, and even has a pair or rubber boots at the daycare for splashing in puddles. Rose wears her DBB nights only and does great. Guest guest
Barefoot is always best! For the times when bare feet are not possible, we were directed to New Balance and Elefanten brands. Both of these have strong support on the outer side of the shoe offering support against rocking outward and pointing toes inward. I have no idea if it makes any difference, but it certainly can't hurt to try to have the right shoe for these precious feet! and Evan (8-17-00 bcf) > My baby is almost a year old and is now wearing the DBB at night and > nap time( as of about a month ago.)
