Hi all,

Okay so we waited out the weekend like Dr. H suggested to see how

was doing with her adjustment to the DBB and being out of

the cast. Well, good news! She is crawling, rolling, and pulling

up both in and out of the DBB!! She FINALLY pulled up tonight (out

of the DBB) and put weight on her left leg/foot. I almost cried!

Some of you probably think I'm pitiful but I was truely SO concerned

with the way she was acting last week. I was persistent through the

weekend with touching her foot during her free hour every day,

trying to make a game of moving and touching it. She tolerated that

pretty quickly once I started being more firm with my touch. I

think I was being too gentle and making it worse at first. My

biggest concern was the lack of bearing weight on her left foot. I

was so excited when she did it tonight. You would've thought she

did a cartwheel or something -- LOL!

Anyway, thanks for the support while we got through this stage.

Also, we saw the geneticist today and they said they cannot make any

connection between 's clubfoot and her various other medical

issues (heart defects, simian crease in left palm, and hooded

eyelids). I'm taking that as good news since looking at it the

other way causes more worry and I don't need that!

We see her cardiologist tomorrow and I am praying that her two

smaller defects will have resolved!

Oh, and as soon as I get my pics uploaded from my camera I will post

some of her beautiful little foot on CFPics :)

Yay, , yay!

We are so glad to have such a positive report! Amazing how they can get around

in that thing, isn't it? The only troubles we ever ran into were Jonah getting

the bar stuck in a " tight " space when he was crawling around. And the bar being

a little tippy when he stood on it.

Here's hoping for as positive a report from the cardiologist as well...
