Guest guest
Well Thanks to , I went on Google and searched Migraines. I found a good website that explained migraines and it sounds just like the symptoms I had for the first time yesterday. The migraines have 4 stages, it was the " auro " stage that really scared me the most. The " auro " stage for me resulted in extreme fatigue all of a sudden and a confusion state. This frightened me more than the headache itself. I could not concentrate at all. I felt so weird. But now, I do feel a little better about the situation being on I found an explanation of WHY I was feeling that way, and the good thing is that I didn't have to go and pay a doctor to explain it to me. But of course, if these presist, I suppose I will eventually have to see another one, but with all the bills I have now from the Docs, I would rather wait and see how it goes. My next visit will be Next Friday when I go see my first Rheumy...I sure hope he offers some help and encouragement. Thanks again , God Bless, a Faye

Guest guest
Hello all, I don't get to post much but I have a question. My daughter Shelby was holding her head and crying all day saying her head hurt. She also stayed in bed all day and was very lethargic I was wondering if she could possibly be getting migraines. I was going to take her to the emergency room but the none of her drs were on call and the ones taking call would not help there reply was we don't know what to do with her don't know about her disease. The neuro on call said he wouldn't even see her or order any labs or tests. The emergency room where I live would have done nothing without a dr to tell them how to treat her. So I am hoping we can get through the night until her drs will be in. Will they do anything for migraines in little ones ? Shelby is only two and I hated to see her suffer in pain but nobody today would do anything. I hope all is well with everyone.
