Guest guest
You can wait a few days, but what I find with Matt is when he has one, it does hurt and he tries to scratch it. I wouldnt put anything on it until you go-- is shouldnt cause any harm. When Matt scratches at it, i try to distract him. He always feels better after it is treated. We see a GI doc at Childrens in Philly and the nurse there is actually doing a study on granulomas. She said some kids get them all the time, some never. She feels it is an immunity issue--the body is trying to get rid of something that technically shouldnt be there. The silver nitrate does sting alittle when being applied--make sure the person who does it knows what they are doing. You want to make sure they only apply it to the affected area and not on the good skin. let me know if you have any other questions and let me know how it goes. Good luck.
