Guest guest
Hi, Quick question: Have you ever had a child who didn't seem to know when he was peeing or had to pee? My almost 3 yr. old (myopathy, possible mito) loves to sit on the potty and does so a few times a day but never pees in it. Doesn't seem to know how to control that part of his body or something? I thought I'd ask you all about this. Cognitively, he's doing very well and is "normal" but he does have considerable muscular weakness as well as absent reflexes, constipation, failure to thrive (he gained 2 lbs!). I know that I will probably need to teach him when he's peeing by letting him run around naked for a day or so (in the house, of course). It's still a little cold for that even here in Florida. Any thoughts? Anne R
