If you are going to travel, depending on what you are looking for I would say that Columbia is not the place I would go to for a metabolic disorder. Why did the doc suggest Columbia? You mentioned Dr. Treem--I will email the geneticist we used to see at Columbia and see what I can find out for you. Give me whatever info you can so I can be of the most help. If you are travelling such a distance, you want to be sure it is the right person. We made the mistake of going to se a doc at Duke when Matt was first being testd because that is where the test was sent and we really did not know what else to do. The doc was nice, but definitely not worth the trip. Give me all your details and we will go from there. I am going to email the gentecist right now.
