I have been reading your posts on how your children throw up food

from many hours before. You are not crazy. You should talk to your

GI doctors about this. My daughter was doing the same thing and no

one could figure it out. Until she went to a GI/Motility doctor.

The condition has a name. It is Gastroparesis. It is when your

stomach does not empty properly. There is a simple, but long test

that they can do. My daughter stomach took over 12 hours to empty.

And then it sat and rotted in her intestines. It was terrible. She

was on many different meds for it, a GJ tube so the food would

bypass her stomach. She still doesn't eat much, or gain weight.

But the domperidone has worked wonders compared to what she use to

eat. It is not approved by the FDA, but I know a lot of Motility

kids that are on it.

Now I have a question, The Genetics doctor's office called me today

to set up an appointment for Kierra. I have posted before her

symptoms but just incase you missed them I will share them again.

GI- gastroparesis,Gerd,Dysmotility Disorder, carnitine deficency,

vit. K deficent, cronic constipation, areflexia (in her arms and legs)

can't tolerate the heat, weighs 47 lbs she is almost 9.

I just need to know what I am in for going down this new road. She

is in the 3rd grade and is doing well. At times she falls for no

reason and her memory seems to be slipping. She can remember what

happened last week, but not what happened 6 hours earlier. Any help

would be great. Her Diagnostic doctor said something about skin and

muscle biopsies.

Thanks again
