Guest guest
I really do not have any good information for you, other than on the Periactin. I have two children on this medication for migraines (one with mito, one without). They have the headache type migraines and it works well. Also if he is having problems gaining weight Periactin is an appetite stimulator. Both of my children started eating like they had a tapeworm within the first week of the medication, and they still do. If you decide to try this get the pill form if he can swallow it. The liquid is thick and minty. My 7 year old will take it, because she knows it works but next refill will be in pill form. As far as my 1 1/2 year old, she has a g tube so she really dose not care how it tastes. Best of luck, I hope they can figure something out for him really soon. Guest guest
The migraine medication issue is a struggle for me. I can't understand why my docs want me to use only Tylenol or motrin for Asenath's horrible migraines, even the ones she has during strokes. I used to have Tylenol with Codeine and that helped her. The neurologist for some reason doesn't seem it is necessary or good to use anything more.
