-, My son was gf/cf soy and egg free at the time and the only

other things I did were use yeast free bread and really limit sugar. I

felt that his diet was limited enough and did not do any of the other

yeast busting diet. We used Custom pro-biotics, saccromyces

boullardii, biocidin and then added grapefruit seed extract. We had

him on this stuff throughout the day every day for 4 months. I felt

like every minute of the day we were giving him something because we

were giving him the enzymes and we had tried mega vitamin B and that

did not work well for us so the Dr. had us also try super nu-thera and

that was bad for my son also (he got REALLY irritable)So I just

decided to treat the yeast, and then when that got under controll the

no-fenol had just come out and we started that and went off the diet a

couple of weeks later. I think when you are fighting yeast, sugar is

a biggie. I would severely limit sugar and not worry about the rest

and see how that works. My son had really bad yeast and bacteria.

revamp his diet? My kid looooves his carbs, (just like me, but I'm a

vegetarian, so carbs are a main part of my diet) I think it will be so

hard tweaking his diet.

My son has a massive e. strep (wrong gut bacteria) overgrowth and we have

been told that sugar (and dairy foods) really feed strep as well.

Thanks Gillian. I didn't know that about e. strep..

OT - I love your name - that's my niece's name also. Is yours pronounced with

the J sound or G? Niece is G sound.
