Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to the list. I signed on to find out some information for my cousin who has mitochondrial myopathy. She is really having a difficult time and doesn't have a computer. She needs ideas on how to deal with things like mobility (she's trying to get a motorized wheelchair and needs help converting her apartment to be accessible... the landlord isn't much help at all), suggestions for dealing with things like constipation, difficulty reading (droopy eyelids; she is having difficulty getting the glasses paid for) and day-to-day helps. Is there a brochure or online source I can get for her that will offer simple inexpensive suggestions for her? She's in contact with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, but I'm not sure what all they've been able to supply her with. One more thing... she was told that Co-Q 10 is important but her insurance won't cover it and she's living on disability. Any suggestions for her to get the product less expensively? Thanks for any help you can give. a
