Guest guest
Hi, I believe I may have asked you all this before, but I need to ask again (a little overwhelmed with info lately). The geneticist dismissed Asher's abnormal urine amino and organic acids as just that the kidneys were working really well and excreting things well or holding onto things it needed. I found that rather odd given that over 1/2 of both the urine amino and organic acids were abnormal. Some of the amino acids were decreased but the other amino and 1/2 the organic acids were elevated, some quite high. According to the labs, there was no pattern that resembled a known metabolic disorder. I don't know, but it seems weird to just dismiss. His blood amino and organic acids were normal except for citrulline (elevated) and an elevated pyruvate. Normal lactic. Have any of you run into these types of abnormalities? Are they usually just dismissed? Anne R
