Well I need advice. On Sunday I posted about my sons horrible die off

reaction from being on (too much) nystatin. Thankfully there were

very knowledgable people to let me know that my lower dose was not low

enough and I cut way back on it to just 1ml a day and immediately saw

behavior improvements! :) We are still on 1ml a day and I was

thinking about adding another 1ml (total of 1ml 2x per day) but my son

has a rash on the lower part of his mouth and chin that is very red

and itches. (similar to his butt rash that went away with the more

agressive regimine) Does anyone think adding a dose more per day will

aggrivate the rash or maybe do I need it to help it go away? I also

gave 1/4 capsule of activated charcoal for the first time today (he is

only 27 lbs). Any more exprt thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks Patti

Patti,

Are you giving him probiotics? If not you need to add some. If you already

are you may want to add more.Probiotics cant hurt him. The only bad side

effect of too much probiotics is diarrea (then you cut back). Culturelle is

very good. I would keep going with the charcoal and stay on the same daose of

Nystatin and see if the rash goes away before upping the dose. hang in there.

--Hi ,

Yes he is on a strong pro-biotic 2x per day. I was in a quandry of

thinking either not enough nystatin to clear the rash or if I added

more might it aggrivate the situation?

Thanks for the support
