Guest guest Posted February 9, 2004 Report Share Posted February 9, 2004 Gracie has been having unusual seizure type symptoms lately. I told Dr. Cohen about it and he scheduled an EEG. We got the results back and they were normal. Here comes the question. Dr. Cohen's nurse called me today asking if we wanted to do a 48 hour EEG. Everyone agrees that they are little seizures, but I really don't know if I want to put her in the hospital for two days. She is there enough on her own, we do not need any more scheduled stays. I understand what it involves and I know it is not painful. But, the hospital really stresses her out causing her BP to go up and I just don't know if it is worth it. The seizure type problems she has are relatively minor (falling a lot, and running into walls, staring episodes). I think I will wait until we see Dr. Cohen face to face this month and ask him.
