Guest guest
HI We go to Mayo often and stay at the Extended Stay America. It is a newer hotle (no swimming pool) but it has a kichette in side with a fride. It is really nice and cheap. I highly recommend it. One downfall it is 4 miles away from mayo clinic which is not a big deal I always park in the mayo ramp. Here is the website http://www.extstay.com/ when you book you can ask for 1st floor and by an exit. I always do it easier my son doesn't walk. The rate is 59$ it is a really nice room. They have a microwave, sink, 2 burners and silverware/dishes. Plus it is new and really great beds!! They do provide a shuttle to Mayo. Great place any questions email me! Angel Mayo hotels HI Friends :-) Wondering where others stay when unable to get into the RMH there at Mayo??? Hoping to get some recommendations from here and then see if any of them match with the ones that have a discount if your unable to get into RMH. We do need a refrigerator for meds, and ideally some way to prepare some food in the room......any recommendations appreciated!!! -- BIG hugs, Kass, proud mom to Chance(10-Mito), Madison(7-Mito), and Abby(6-Mito) Updates (http://www.caringbridge.org/tx/mitowhat/) Featured children on the Make A Child Smile. Guest guest
Sorry to say the one we tens to stay at isn't one with a discount or a refrigerator. I believe that Krystena or Darlene stayed at one that had a discount. Hopefully one of them can help you or another family who goes to Mayo. We always use a cooler with ice when we go. We keep Asenath's Topamax and Porrah's Prilosec in it along with milk and other food so we can save on eating out costs. The hotel we like is the Best Western Apache. It has a great pool and hot tub. Great to relax in after a long day. Kind of expensive though. By the way, Luke and Tirzah's test results were both good, other than their eyes to which we got no help on to fix. Guest guest
We have used Priceline.com to stay close to the Mayo. Last time we were there we got the Radisson for 42 bucks.
