Update on me and more.........

Good morning all,

First, WELCOME to all the new members. We are happy to have

you but sorry you had to find us under these conditions of the

Sarc Monster. This is a " family " though with many who are willing

to help answer questions and offer advice. We have nearly 400 members

now...........

I read the emails each evening and morning and try to answer

those that I can. I just get sooooo tired and most of the time I

am in the recliner either sleeping or resting......I hate this!

But on a lighter note, I had my Doctor appt yesterday with my

cardiologist/pulmonary specialist and he was pleased with my

progress so that was good news. He would like for me to either lower

my Imuran or quit it all together and suggested I talk to my Rheumi

to see about it. My Rheumi is the one who prescribed it to me and now

has me on the Remicade along with the Imuran. The Remicade really

seems to be helping me --- but I am " early " in the treatment. This

will be my first attempt at going 8 weeks between treatments. We shall

see........ I have about another month to go before my next infusion.

I do seem to feel better though and once in a while I have a little

bit of energy (which I have not seen for about 5 or 6 years)! It is

sooooo hard not to over do when I have a good day.

Enough about me.......I hope each of you have a great day today.

It is supposed to be very hot and very humid here for the next 5 days or

so (at least) so I will be in around the A/C! :-) The kids are all

coming in for Fathers Day but we are holding it at one of my daughters

house so I won't have so much to do. I hope you all have a good

weekend.

I won't be around through the day today as I have to answer the

phones at my daughters business but I will be here tonight.......
