Guest guest
Thank you for your offering of help. I called her G.I. yesterday and she did not seem too worried, but was kind of expecting it too happen. I was told that it is probally due to the mito slowing her down. She did say that they will do an emptying study if it continues after she is back on the Prevacid for awhile. Did Kierra have this done? What do they do for this one? I do not like the idea of more testing, her first year of life was going back and forth to the Cleveland Clinic for testing. Who does your daughter see for mito? Has she had a muscle biopsy done yet? My daughter had alot of GI problems first with her mito. We went through everything from thinking the worst it can be is Chrons to thinking she may have Viral Hepatitis. (I had a blood transfusion right after having her, then I was nursing her.) She had been off the Prevacid for almost 1 year, since some of her cocktail was started. I is very frustrating when they do well for so long then all of a sudden fall off the cliff again. I just pray this is all temporary. Best wishes for your daughter, to get through her problems. Guest guest
Hi , My 3 yr. old just got a g-tube/mic-key button for the same problem. How did you ever get your daughter to the point she could eat solids and not have the problems with motility??? Anne R
