Happy New Year and Thanks to you all

Hi everyone,

This has been a very long year for us and for most if not all of you. Last year at this time we were not real sure of what to expect for the coming year and Audrey. It started off with her getting her feeding tube right after the first of January and then she had her big appointment with Dr. Cohen. Although we didn't get the answers we were praying for but knew in our hearts we were really going to see Dr. Cohen for confirmation of this terrible disease. The year started out very bleak for our beautiful Audrey, but as the year went along Audrey surprised all the doctors and she is still with us. I think much of her good fortune is that we found all of you. I truly feel all the special prayers that you all have said for her has helped to keep her with us. Plus everytime we came upon a question, I would post it and you all would come to our rescue. You are a wonderful and warm group of people and I am proud to be a part of you.

As most of you know, I am Audrey's grandma, Kathy. She is the sunshine of my day and the stars that shine for me at night. I know that we will have to say good bye to her one day much too soon, but I will be forever a better person for having had such a wonderful little girl in my life.

I know you all have your own sunshine and stars and I want to say Happy New Year to all of you and to say thanks for being a very important part of my life. I don't think we could make it without each other.
