Guest guest
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had been diagnosed with this. I was diagnosed with this by a homeopathic and an MD who also practiced alternative medicine. My symptoms are severe pain in the lower right side of my abdomen. I saw an article on the net that says this problem can be caused by several things, but am now thinking it is just part of my mito (muscle issues in valve area). Anyway, I would love to hear if anyone else has dealt with this. Here is a summary and a link to the article if needed: http://healing.about.com/cs/conditions/a/aa_ileocecal.htm September 16, 2003 Ileocecal Valve SyndromeNew Article - If you are experiencing digestive problems it could be that your ileocecal valve isn't functioning properly. What is the Ileocecal Valve? This valve is located between your small intestine and large intestine which opens to allow waste materials to be disposed of. But when the valve is stuck (either open or closed) digestive problems will result. Treatment options are chiropractic adjustments, kinesiology, homeopathy, and proper nutrition.
