Guest guest
We used to have a set of portable bedrails we bought at ToysRUs, but I don't know if they're still available, since we bought them long ago. They folded up, so they were smaller to pack than the regular ones. Some hotels have bedrails you can request. We've also dragged the hotel mattress onto the floor when there was enough floor space. -- mom to: Kaitlin (17) cp, asthma, post-spinal fusion Emilie (17) cp, ld, post-spinal fusion, mitochondrial disease (complex IV) Ian (22) ....and wife to Tim, who has a heart of gold
Guest guest
Hi there! I have a friend here who was facing the same problem. She bought tent like thing in the shape of a Barbi Car I think that just strapps around the mattress on a bed. Sometimes she takes her own blow up mattress like an aro bed and uses it as well. It assures he that ReeAnne will not fall out. I will try to find out more information on it for you and post it to the group. Have a great week! Horsley Travel Ideas Hi All, We're headed to the Mayo Clinic next week for a visit with our son Zakary. At home he sleeps in a bed with rails and I wonder what to do for the hotel room. A crib is too small for him. We're considering a full size Aero bed so that he hopefully wouldn't roll off but wondering if anyone has any other suggestions for a bed to travel with. TIA Deb, mom to Zak Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.
Guest guest
Since hotel beds can't move; can you request a rollaway so that you could put it between a bed and the wall? Or can you request a roll away and also purchase the rails that are used for toddler beds and bring that with you to the hotel? We've also just brought a long a sleeping bag some times for our daughter Leah so she won't roll of the bed. But we haven't had a problem with her in a full size bed at a hotel and she is 5 1/2 years old and sleeps with a bed rail on her bed at home. How old is Zak?
