Guest guest
This is confusing and frustrating Darla!!! Seems like even trying a migraine preventative would be worthwhile. Over here we have Chance on a combo of Ribolfavin and Magnesium Oxide that has been shown to be an effective migraine preventative and it seems to have helped with the visual aura's he was having. Since he was not having the actual headaches, just the aura's I didn't want to put him on another medication, so this was an alternative I could live with. Can only imagine the level of frustration over there with this!!! -- BIG hugs, Kass, proud mom to Chance(10-Mito), Madison(7-Mito), and Abby(6-Mito) Updates (http://www.caringbridge.org/tx/mitowhat/) "Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away" Unknown Darla Klein wrote: The migraine medication issue is a struggle for me. I can't understand why my docs want me to use only Tylenol or motrin for Asenath's horrible migraines, even the ones she has during strokes. I used to have Tylenol with Codeine and that helped her. The neurologist for some reason doesn't seem it is necessary or good to use anything more. Darla
