If even ONE of the ingredients is prescription (like carnitor) I think insurance has to cover it (at least it was that way when I worked for Pacificare). And even if they won't, what I would have given all those years just to open one bottle and give one thing instead of all the capsules and mortar and pestle for crushing and then running out of apple butter and all that mess.
