Guest guest
, & others, I don't have a problem with somebody buying a latte now & then, or having a cell phone, etc. But when you are spending $4 a day for coffee . . . . . in a year you could have bought a used car! And I know that many people can't afford a regular phone, or have to pay a deposit, so they use a cell phone & buy minutes. But my son is one of those who thinks he has to upgrade every time something new comes out. Now he has a phone with video; he doesn't need that. What really amazed me was the number of people lined up in Walmart at midnight the night before some new game was coming out, before Christmas! And these people aren't rich. I just see all these kids growing up feeling entitled to every new thing to come down the pike. My grandkids think I was deprived because we didn't have video games & dvd's when I was a kid. Oh, don't let me get started. Mmmmmphhh! Someone's got their hand over my mouth! And we had to hike 40 miles in snow over our heads to get to school! Mmmmphhh! I can't help it. LOL I got addicted to thelattes & cappers when I worked in a restaurant. It wasout of economic necessity. If you got a drink in abottle it counted as part of your daily meal allowancebut all the coffee & fountain pop was free. grannylunatic@...__________________________________________________
