The "pretty md" was in rare form this morning, and didn't have a thing to say about our conversation last week, of course that might have had something to do with my mom sitting in the corner, not sure, but she didn't show any signs of discontent.. I tried to explain to her when I was "complaining"that I was actually trying to give her my symptoms.. that how would she know if I was symptomatic if she didn't ask, she just kind of frowned but didn't say a word... She did a better evaluation of my heart and lungs this time and says the reason my legs are swollen so bad is because I'm so dry.... "OH MY GOODNESS" you don't get edema from being dry, its due to fluid build up.. does she think I'm stupid? I guess so.. She wants to see me in 2weeks, and she gave me a perscription for the procrit and she did recheck my HCT today and low and behold its actually back up to 29, I knew I wasn't as winded or my heart wasnt pounding in my ear like it was a week ago.. but now my White blood count is low, which could be leukemia or medication induced lukemia she hasn't called me to say one way or the other. I turned the prescription into the pharmacy so they can get started with a prior approval.. We'll see how that all works out.. Anyway, thanks guys for sending me your well wishes, your prayers and good thoughts, it went a long way into making it all possible for me to show up today..
