how about a Berber plush combo, we had it at our other house, it is soft,

yet it is hard enough that youshouldnt have problems with the wheelchair.

Just a thought.

My father-in-law has his own shop at home flooring business, which my husband also works at. I am sure he would be more than happy to give suggestions on the many different types of flooring options that would be appropriate. Another suggestion may be the type of padding that goes underneath of the carpet...there are so many different ideas...but I am sure that he would love to help. Please let me know if you would like his information or you could e-mail me privately if you are interested in that.

Sincerely,

Debbie Vanaman

We are looking for some ideas about floors. We need it hard enough to be able to push the wheelchair on but soft enough to not crack his head on when he falls. (he can't walk but he can still build up a good whack from the crawling position)We have heard cork flooring is good. Has anyone tried it?Right now we have Berber carpet which looks great but is hard as a rock.Any ideas?ThanksTwanaPlease contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.
