Shirley, Glad you put my name in it, I'm behind on reading all the messages

and I hadn't seen this one yet.

Apparently Tylenol can do some damage to Mitochondria (I can't remember

specifically what, but I just remember that it does). However, I think (and

hope) in short bursts it is ok because we really have to use both sometimes

to get the fever down and we don't want seizures, and fevers can sometimes

trigger Ben's seizures.. But, the doc wants us to primarily use Ibuprofen.

Shirley,

Your question wasn't directed to me but I've been told not to take Tylenol either. It's not the best choice for mito patients. Neither is Aspirin. It's reccomended to use Motrin products.
